The Provincial Grand Conclave 2012

On Monday 29th of October 2012 Most Worthy Bro. Michael William Guest the Grand Supreme Ruler installed Right Worthy Bro. Peter Ernst Ribi PGG the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler in Charge as the new Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for the Province of London in a most memorable ceremony.

The Provincial Grand Conclave was opened by Right Worthy Bro. Harold Gould Grand Chancellor and Past Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler of London. The Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler entered Provincial Grand Conclave in procession, ascended the dais and appointed his Grand Officers and then proceeded to install R.Wy. Bro. Peter Ernst Ribi as the fifth Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler of the Province of London.

The Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler was the very pleased to announce that he had appointed Wy. Bro. Simon James Blumsom as his Deputy and then proceeded to install him according to ancient custom.

After the conclusion of the installation ceremony, The Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler and his assisting Grand Officers retired from Provincial Grand Conclave under the direction of the Grand Director of Ceremonies

The business of the Province followed with the introduction of the distinguished visitors, the minutes of the previous Provincial Meeting, the various reports and the investiture of the Provincial Grand Officers. In his address to the Brethren the new Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler assured them that he would do his best to maintain and develop the order in London and he emphasised that the future of the Province and indeed the order must be to encourage younger Masons to join and to this end he has appointed a young in age, but experienced in Masonry deputy to develop this policy and he felt sure that the Brethren of the Province will give him every support.

The festive board was a success with animated conversation throughout the room, interesting and entertaining speeches by the Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler and the new Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler.
